Centenary News

May 21st saw the culmination of months of preparation as the Club hosted its Centenary Dinner. A full field of competitors participated in a Texas Scramble during the afternoon before preparing for the evenings celebrations. All the members of the Centenary Dinner Committee, led by the Captain of the month, Mr DG Davies deserve our congratulations together with everyone who worked tirelessly to make the day such a success.

June 17-19
Over 100 Lady competitors arrived at the club to participate in the Welsh Ladies Team Championship. Again, following months of preparation, the event was enjoyed by all the competitors, especially the winning team from Newport Golf Club pictured below. Congratulations to them and our sincere thanks to the Ladies Section, Green Staff and the army of volunteers who helped made the event such a success. Even the weather failed to dampen any spirits.
