Aberystwyth Golf Club extends a very warm welcome to visitors and societies throughout the week; we recommend that you book in advance to avoid disappointment. A great test for golfers of all abilities, our 18 hole course, with its mix of par threes, fours and fives, extends over 6,100 yards and is well maintained to includes a range of natural hazards including trees and gorse.
The golf course is situated on the outskirts of the university town of Aberystwyth overlooking Cardigan Bay. A round of golf will give you views of the magnificent West Wales coast which are nothing short of spectacular; they take in the mountains of Snowdonia to the north and sweep round to the Preseli Hills of Pembrokeshire in the south.

In addition to these wonderful views, the area is also home to a variety of wildlife including some spectacular birds of prey such as the red kite and a range of marine creatures such as bottlenose dolphins, grey seals and porpoises.
Why not make a weekend of your visit and take in the attractions that Aberystwyth and the surrounding area has to offer? Take a stroll along the town’s mile long promenade with its Norman castle, or maybe visit the Aberystwyth Arts Centre which provides an excellent programme of events.
Recommend accommodation includes the Glengower Hotel which is near to the clubhouse and has
a beautiful seaview.
Aberystwyth also has a very cosmopolitan vibrant nightlife with a resident population of over 7000 students.
