Over a 100 years of Golfing Bliss!

Situated above the Mid Wales coastal town, Aberystwyth Golf Course is blessed with stunning views over Cardigan Bay. From Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula to the Preseli Mountains in Pembrokeshire, there is hardly a comparable view from any golf course anywhere.

This spectacular course was designed by the legendary six times Open Champion, Harry Vardon, one of the all time golfing greats and it has stood the test of time.

2011 was the Centenary year for Aberystwyth Golf Club during which we hosted the Welsh Ladies Team Championship and the Welsh Boys and Girls Inter County Championship. 2011 also turned out to be a record year for visitors to the club.

A further highlight was to appear in two consecutive editions of Golf Monthly. In the December edition, we were featured as one of the famous magazine’s 100 Hidden gems. We also received a favourable write up in the following edition with our friendly welcome given a prominent mention.
