Situated above the Mid Wales coastal town, Clwb Golff Aberystwyth is blessed with stunning views over Cardigan Bay. From Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula to the Preseli Mountains in Pembrokeshire, there is hardly a comparable view from any golf course, anywhere!

Aberystwyth was one of the courses designed by the legendary six times Open Champion, Harry Vardon, an all time ‘golfing great’. It is probably his most spectacular in terms of views and it has stood the golfing test of time.

You could be easily fooled into thinking you’re playing in the Spanish mountains!

4 of us went on a golf weekend in Aber last week, played this course on the Saturday, had a fantastic time! Course is in great condition, a real challenge and some interesting holes. The views from the top were amazing, the weather helped of course but you could be easily fooled into thinking you’re playing in the Spanish mountains! Staff were great, particularly the pro who booked us in and pulled the pints afterwards! Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely visit again.

The Best Golf Weekend Ever

29 years we have been the Sammy golf society back to the wonderful AGC.
It is obvious to see that the very small team of staff that take care of this little gem of a course have worked tirelessly to improve the playing experience.
The rough is more forgiving, the bunkers are almost pro standard and the fairways and greens in the best shape for years.
Always challenging but never less than a pleasure .
