Visitor Information

Clwb Golff Aberystwyth Golf Club extends a very warm welcome to visitors and societies throughout the year. We recommend that you book in advance particularly during the summer months.

Aberystwyth is a great test for golfers of all abilities. Our 18 hole course extends to 6,126 yards and is well maintained. The golf course is situated above the university town of Aberystwyth overlooking Cardigan Bay. A round of golf will give you views of the magnificent West Wales coast which are truly spectacular. They take in the mountains of Snowdonia to the north and sweep round to the Preseli Hills of Pembrokeshire in the south.

In addition to these wonderful views, the area is also home to a variety of wildlife including some spectacular birds of prey such as the red kite and a range of marine creatures such as bottlenose dolphins, grey seals and porpoises.

Why not make a weekend of your visit and take in the attractions that Aberystwyth and the surrounding area have to offer? Take a stroll along the town’s mile long promenade with its Norman castle, or maybe visit Aberystwyth Arts Centre which provides an excellent programme of events. To find out more about what Aberystwyth has to offer, go check out KAYAK’s Travel guide before you arrive.

Aberystwyth also has a very cosmopolitan vibrant nightlife with a resident population of over 8,000 students. We look forward to welcoming you to Clwb Golff Aberystwyth Golf Club

The west coast of Wales is exceptionally pretty and this elevated, undulating course midway along Cardigan Bay is a real delight. It has a mixture of downland and parkland holes and was designed by Harry Vardon. From the higher holes there are magnificent views down over the course, along the coastline and out to sea. It is also one of the friendliest and best-value clubs you will find anywhere.”
