Our much admired and lifelong member and supporter, Sue Sherman, passed away on Friday (May 22nd) following illness that had led to declining health over recent years. Despite that Sue continued to play golf until last summer.
Sue was a former Lady Captain, she played for the Mid Wales County Golf Association and was Captain in 1981 and President from 1989 to 1991.
Her last formal event at the club was to present the prizes at a MWCGA competition at AGC last spring.
Sue will be much missed. A real lady in golf and in life.
